About QuickBooksFixPro
QuickBooksFixPro is an independent troubleshooting library for QuickBooks. We are not Intuit, we are not affiliated with Intuit, and we do not pretend to be. Our job is simpler and more useful: when QuickBooks breaks, tell you exactly why and what to do about it — in plain English, in the right order, with the official sources to back it up.
Why this site exists
Search for any QuickBooks error and you will find hundreds of pages that say the same vague things: "check your network", "update your drivers", "contact support". Many of them exist only to collect a phone call. We built QuickBooksFixPro because the people who actually fix QuickBooks every day deserve better information than that — and because the difference between a 10-minute fix and a lost week of bookkeeping is usually one accurate detail.
Every guide on this site is written around a real support scenario: the exact dialog text, the likely cause ranked by frequency, the sequence a technician would follow, and the point at which you should stop and get professional help.
Who writes and reviews the guides
Our content is produced by the QuickBooksFixPro editorial team and reviewed against official Intuit documentation before publication. The team works from real support cases handled by our support desk — the same cases that show us which fixes actually work and which "solutions" circulating online quietly make things worse.
We are transparent about how the site is produced, including where we use AI-assisted drafting and how every guide is verified afterward. That process is documented in full on our research and review methodology page, and our rules for accuracy, sourcing and corrections are published in our editorial standards.
How we make money
The guides are free and always will be. The site is funded by optional paid support: if you would rather have someone fix the problem for you, you can request help and our support team will contact you. That is the whole business model — readers who need hands-on help pay for it, and readers who only need the guide never do.
Because of that model, we have a rule we take seriously: the guide always gives you the complete fix, whether or not you ever contact us. We do not hold back steps, and we do not write scary content to sell support. If a step in a guide leads to a paid service, that is because the problem genuinely requires it — and we say so.
What we will never do
- Claim to be Intuit, or imply an endorsement we do not have.
- Publish a phone number we cannot verify as official, or route you to an unaffiliated call center.
- Fabricate a success story, statistic or expert review.
- Copy another site's content. Every guide is written from scratch for this site.

Found a mistake, a product change we missed, or a guide that could be clearer? Email support@quickbooksfixpro.com. Corrections from readers are one of the main ways the library improves, and we credit meaningful fixes in the guide's update history.
